ACPL · MethodOS

Privacy Notice

Effective 10 October 2026

Who controls your data

ACPL is the seller of MethodOS and the data controller for account, support, and service usage information. For organizational documents processed on your instructions, your organization controls that content and ACPL processes it to provide the service. Contact us at support@aueron.store for privacy questions and rights requests.

Information and purposes

We process your name, email, profile information and authentication credentials to create and secure your account; transcripts, documents, SOPs and selected screenshots to generate and maintain process documentation; subscription identifiers and status to administer access; support messages to resolve requests; and IP addresses, device/browser details, and operational logs to prevent fraud, diagnose errors, and protect the service. Do not upload recordings or personal information without the necessary rights and permissions.

Legal bases

Account administration, document processing and support are necessary to perform our contract with you. Security and service reliability rely on legitimate interests balanced against your rights. We process information required by law to meet legal obligations. Optional screen sharing requires your permission; any optional marketing or non-essential tracking requires consent where applicable.

Sharing and international processing

We share necessary information with hosting, authentication, AI processing, monitoring and support providers to operate MethodOS. Stripe processes payments on our behalf and receives information needed for sales, subscription management, payments, tax calculation and invoicing; Stripe handles payment-card information under its own privacy notice. We may share information with professional legal/accounting advisers and authorities when legally required. Providers may process data in other countries; where applicable, we use lawful transfer safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Recordings and retention

Source recordings are processed transiently for transcription and are not stored as source video/audio by MethodOS. Selected still screenshots and generated SOP content are retained when you save your document. AI and transcription providers process inputs under their own service retention terms; transient handling by MethodOS does not guarantee zero retention by providers. Account and saved document data remain while needed to provide the service. On a deletion request we delete or anonymize data no longer needed, except information retained for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute obligations. Backups and operational logs may remain until their normal retention cycle expires.

Your rights and security

Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact support; UK/EEA requests are normally answered within one month, and you may complain to your supervisory authority. We use encryption in transit, access controls and account-scoped permissions, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and local storage

Essential session cookies and browser storage maintain sign-in, security, preferences and temporary drafts. Payment checkout may use essential payment-provider cookies. We do not intentionally use advertising cookies. You can clear or block storage through your browser, which may prevent sign-in or remove unsaved drafts. Any future optional analytics or marketing cookies will require appropriate consent controls.
